Armenia Startup Academy pre-accelerator is a 12-week program designed to guide tech companies/teams through the process of customer development using advanced tracking methodologies and instruments. Upon graduation, the teams have practical understanding of market context for their products and practical steps for the next 6 months. Program culminates with a Demo Day, where startups present their solutions to the investors, community and general audience.

What is Armenia Startup Academy?
Armenia Startup Academy is an acceleration programme designed to guide early-stage tech startups and teams working on innovative ideas and products through the process of customer development using advanced tracking methodologies and instruments. The Academy currently provides 2 programmes - Pre-acceleration and Traction. The Pre-acceleration programme guides prototype-stage startups through their idea validation, customer development, go-to-market strategy development, and pitching. The Academy Traction programme is an intensive mentorship-based growth programme designed for companies that have managed to gain initial traction, and need help in intensifying it.

The teams will receive intensive coaching and support in customer development and pitching along with access to a wide network of professionals; financial and legal support; guidance on applying to regional and global accelerators as well as expanding to international markets; fundraising support; and more.
Which topics will be covered during the programme?
The group events - lectures, workshops, guest-speaker talks, etc, will cover different topics, e.g. market selection, expanding to global markets, GTM strategy, fundraising, IP, legal & financial guidance, etc.

Armenia Startup Academy is based in Hero House, a tech and entrepreneurship hub in the center of Yerevan.
How much does the programme cost?
Participation of startups is free of charge. If you have a promising idea and a competent and dedicated team to walk the path, we are here to help you speed up your journey!
What is required from programme participants?
The programme requires at least one dedicated person from each startup to join the group events and individual meetings and work with committment and dedication throughout the 3 months of the programme.
What's the size and the selection process for the grants?
The top-performing teams will receive the EU-funded grant of €10K. The selection will be made in the middle of the programme by the Selection Committee members.
Is participation to all meetings and events mandatory?
Participation to all weekly events and meetings is strongly encouraged. Those who don't will risk their participation to the programme and will have a less chance to qualify for the grant.
